Angelina Lynne is a versatile singer, musician and educator. A classically trained soprano, she enjoys singing in many genres and performs with a variety of artists on national and international stages. She is pursuing a doctorate in music education and a certificate in the languages and cultures of the Arab world, and her research focuses on choral music pedagogies in their cultural diversity. Her affinity for the Arabic language, cultures and music of the Middle East has led her to teach in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. From 2014 to 2017, Angelina was a Visiting Professor of Music at the American University of Sharjah, where she taught piano and voice, gave seminars and directed the university’s choirs.

Dedicated to educating older people, Angelina is a certified RockHubs mentor and a research assistant for the Creative Later Life in a Digital Age project and at the CERVO Research Centre. She facilitates online piano lessons as part of a project exploring how to improve the quality of life of hearing-impaired older people who wear hearing aids through music workshops. Angelina holds a Master of Music in Performance (Singing) from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University. She has also taken doctoral courses in voice science, pedagogy and performance at Shenandoah University (Virginia) and Université Laval, as well as in choral conducting at Université de Sherbrooke.
