Marjorie Fiset

Marjorie Fiset
Master's student

Marjorie Fiset is a singer-songwriter and voice teacher. A native of Quebec City, she holds a bachelor’s degree in jazz singing from the Université de Montréal. She has over fifteen years of experience as a solo artist and accompanist, as well as a voice teacher at Cégep Marie-Victorin, École de musique Vincent d’Indy and École Nationale de la Chanson de Granby. Upon returning to Quebec City in 2021, she established Silence, a resource center dedicated to the health of musicians. She returned to school to pursue a master’s degree in music education, joining the Valerie Peters Laboratory team. Marjorie is currently working as a research assistant, focusing on a project with seniors directed by Andréanne Sharp. She is also a new member of the Cégep de Sainte-Foy’s team of jazz voice teachers.
