Seniors’ homes and alternatives – Prototype proposal for a potential Living Lab

This research project aims to revolutionize residential and long-term care environments to better meet the needs of residents and their loved ones. Under the direction of principal investigator Carol Hudon, Valerie Peters is contributing to this project as a co-investigator on an interdisciplinary team committed to promoting aging well and living well in Quebec society. Our central objective is to design and develop innovative solutions, including the implementation of adapted musical activities in the living environment of elderly people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. We are proud to count on the financial support of the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) for a substantial amount of $173,110. Join us in this exciting adventure to improve the quality of life of our seniors and shape the future of long-term care. For more information, visit https://www.humanitae.ca/
