Music for life

Our “Music for Life” project is an exciting initiative to create 10 video vignettes for the general public, highlighting the benefits of music. In partnership with the Coalition for Music Education in Canada, we are responsible for the production, translation and distribution of these videos. The project is directed by Francis Dubé, with a team of researchers including Valerie Peters as co-director and doctoral student Marie-Claude Mathieu as research assistant. Our project explores the many benefits of lifelong musical practice. Thanks to generous funding from the FRQ-SC, DIALOGUES, with a grant of $40,000, we have the opportunity to share this valuable knowledge with the public.
